Build UK Welcomes Five New Members

Build UK is delighted to welcome five new members as the industry continues to choose to work together to deliver change.

This fantastic wave of new members, coinciding with Build UK’s second anniversary, demonstrates that it has the capacity and capability from across the industry to deliver a stronger, more consistent and collective voice.

Build UK is thrilled to announce that major contractors, AECOM, Canary Wharf Contractors and John Sisk & Son are the latest to join as Contractors members of Build UK and step up to get involved in Build UK’s mission to deliver change across the industry.

AECOM is the builder of some of the world’s most iconic and challenging structures and transforms design concepts into tangible assets through a comprehensive approach to construction.

Canary Wharf Contractors manages and delivers all of Canary Wharf Group’s construction projects in an integrated Project Manager/Main Contractor basis.

John Sisk & Son, member of the SISK Group, is an international company which has been family owned for five generations, resulting in over 150 years of building experience.

In addition to Build UK’s expanding Contractor membership body, its Client voice continues to grow with Heathrow Airport joining the Build UK Family. Heathrow Airport Holdings Limited (formerly BAA) owns and runs London Heathrow Airport, one of Britain's largest aviation hubs.

BRE joining as an Alliance member brings a considerable amount of weight to the membership of organisations which have joined to take part in closer collaboration with Build UK and the single voice it presents for the construction industry. BRE is a world leading multi-disciplinary building science centre with a mission to improve the built environment through research and knowledge generation.
